WHATAWHATA RAGING CLUB
A meeting of the Whatawhata Race Committee was held at the Whatawhata Hotel on Saturday evening. There was a good attendance and considerable business put through. The Secretary reported receiving a certificate of legistraliou from the Racing Conference, and submitted printed programme of the forthcoming annual races. It was decided to issue posters at once, and also have prclimary advertisements inserted in The Argus. It was decided to plough the course forthwith, and do some filling at the low places. Several new members were elccced, Mr A. C. Greenwood being added to the committee.—(Own Correspondent).
