AMOY DISTURBANCES QUIETENED. BRITISH AND JAPANESE EVACUATE THE TOWN. (Received September 10, 8.55 a.m.) Hongkong, September 9. The authorities at Anioy have quietened the disturbances, and the British and Japanese have evacuated the town.
