NORTH AUCKLAND RAILWAY.
' (BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCAITION). Wellington, Last Night. A large deputation of Auckland members waited ou the Premier this afternoon to urge the necessity for pushing on more vigorously with the construction of the North Auckland railway. The Premier, in reply, said he would impress upon the Minister for Public Works the necessity for a greater rate of construction of the line. He would also endeavour to see th»t the settlers north of Auckland were better treated iu future. _^__________
