(by telegraph.—press association). Wellington, Last Night. The supplementary agricultural returns are gazetted, based on the actual returns of the yields. The estimate of wheat was 27 bushels per acre and the actual yield was 3]*Bl: oats, 35 and 40*99; barley, 2S and S3'o2. Allowing for the wheat on hand au.l the quantity required for seed and consumption, the Agricultural Department estimates that there is a surplus this season of 7,11)0,350 bushels. Ryegrass gives a surplus of 1,297,31)5 bushels for disposal and cocksfoot 1,026,6921 b. There is a decrease in the yield of potatoes from 7-73 tons per acre to six tons.
