SUICIDES.

(BY TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION). Auckland, L«t Night. John L. Amodeo, a bootmaker, aced 23. committed suicide by cutting his throat with ii razor. He had been cnmpllining of pains in his head. Cheistchurch, This Day. H. F. Brocklehurst, who lately came to Christehurch with his wife from Wellington, was found shot through the head in his room at Coktis Hotel. The shot was not heard, but as he did not dime down to dinner search was made, aud Brocklehurst was found dead iu a chair with a revolver near him, aud a bullet wound in his head. Ho was about twenty five years of age.
