THE PLAGUE
[UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION). (BY ELECTRIC TELEGRAPH. COPYRIGHT). (Received April 5, 9.55 a.m.) Sydney, April 4. The President of the Board of Health points out that the plague mortality so far is not much more than thirty per cent., which is remarkably low, compared with other countries. The disease here is comparatively mild, and after all a less serious matter than typhoid, the latter always being with us.
