WAIKATO LICENSING COMMITTEE.

The quarterly meeting of the Waikato Licensing Committee was held at the Court-house, Hamilton, at noon, to-day. There were present ;—Captain Jackson, S.M. (chairman), and Messrs C. J. Story, I. Coates, J. P. Bailey and Geo. Edgecumhe. ||t kansfer of Licen ns. The] only business dealt with were a couple of permanent transfers, one for the Star Hotel, Kihikihi, from Mrs T. Porter, to Mr George Faiquhar, and the tvther for tlie Frankton Hotel, from Mr Spencer to Mr IT. Rowlands. The police reports being favourable in each instance the app’icutions were granted. Mr L, O’Nei 1, solicitor, appeared in each case.
