The cricket match Canterbury v, Melbourne Club concluded on Saturday, Canterbury being defeated by au innings and 108 runs. The Melbourne first innings closed for 336, Hie chief scores being Graham 165 and Trumble 55. Canterbury’s second innings realised 135, of which A. E. Ridley made 63.
