The Premier of Queensland has telegraphed to Mr Lyne, suggesting tint the aggregate force from Australia for South Africa .should he brought up to lire thousand. Mr Lyne offers no objection, but pouts out that on the population basis New South Wales has already almost contributed her quota, 400 BUSHMEN ENROLLED. SUBSCRIPTIONS FOR EQUIPMENT RKAOB £20,500. GENEROUS OFFER FROM MR HORDERN. (Received January 11, 1.5 p.m. Sydney, January 10. Over four hundred bnshmen have been enrolled. Subscriptions foi their equipment have reached £20,500.
Mr Samuel Hordern has given £3,000 as well as a Rontjen Ray apparatus and competent operator.
