SUDDEN DEATH OF DR. MURDOCH

[DY TELEGRAPH.—OWN CORRESPONDENT]. Cambridge, This Day. Dr. James Murdoch was found dead in bed this morning by his wife. Mrs Murdoch was out at the Presbyterian soiree last evening, and when she returned home htr husband was asleep in bed. As he had been suffering from influenza and insomnia his wife retired to another room and did not call him this morning until Miss Ewen, daughter of Mr Chapman Ewen, required his attendance upon her father, who is dangerously ill with influenza, when he was found to be dead. Dr. Roberts was quickly fetched, but the body was cold and he had evidently been dead for hours. Heart disease was the cause. Mrs Murdoch has the sympathy of all.
