(BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION). Auckland, This Day. A respectable married man named Lip&combe, a cabinetmaker, attempted to commit suicide with a razor. Be had been suffering from influenza and was mentally depressed. He was taken to the Hospital. His wounds are not regarded fatal. The Hauraki Associated crushed nine tons for gold valued at £290. The Waitekauri Extended monthly cleaning up yielded gold valued at £825.
