Special lines of pat butter command high rates, but keg lots are weaker. New cheese is more plentiful, but late values are likely to be retained. Section honey scarce and enquired for. Eggs in great demand and likely to advance further. Gooseberries scarcer ; we require five tons at lfd lb. Lemons firming again, and must advance yet. Pickling walnuts wanted. Poultry of good class eagerly sought for at Christmas prices. Old hens are in heavy supply and somewhat affect the valuc3 of better birds. Young pigs arc still wanted.
