WAIKATO FRUITGROWERS' ASSOCIATION.
A MEETING of the Fruitgrowers' Association was held in St. Peter's schoolroom last night. The attendance was not Urge. Mr M. G. Farrer, President of the Association, occupied tho chair. Snow. -The first subject disous«cl was the question of holding the next show. The meeting decided "that it should be held as usual, and Thursday, February 15th, was the date fixed. Officers.—The following gentlemeu were elected a committeee to carry out the propoaal with power to add to their number :—Messis Wm. Dey, Geo. Edgecumbe, P. E. Stevens, M. G. Farter, I. Coatcs, C. Day, R. W. Dyer, R. J. Gwynne, A. Swarbriek, E. White, R F. Sandes, J.i S. Edgecumbe and Dim. Brewis and Douglas. Secretary, Mr E. L. Hope (re-elected]. Schedule Committee :—Messrs G. Edgecumbe, Dey, Stevens, Farrer and White were appointed a commitee to draw up the schedule of prizes. Subscription.—The membership fee was fixed at the same figure as formerly, viz., ss.
