CAMBRIDGE UNITED SUNDAY SCHOOL PICNIC.

A "well attended meeting of teacheis and those interested in the annual United Sunday-school gathering was held in the Victoria Hall, Cambridge, on Thursday evening. Mr F. Brooks was voted to the chair, and Mr Richards appointed Hon. Secretary. It was decided to hold tne picnic on Monday, Januaiy Ist, 1900. in Clements Park, Mr J. Peppercorn having kindly offered the use of his pictures que grounds as in former years. Committees were formed to carry out the necessary details of the picnic, and many kind officers of assistance in various waya were gratefully accepted. The residents of Cambridge and vicinity and all visitors will be cordially welcomed, and as every provision has been made for the children's enjoymtnt, fine weather is all that is required to make the New Year's Day gathering a most succe:etul one.
