REPLY TO R. J.

TO THE EDITOR. Sir,- In reply to the letter signed E. .!., I repent thnt the printed notices as stated by me were placed on the Ngaruawahia Methodist Church some little time ago and I challenge anybody to dispute it. As to the statment about the gentleman placed in charge of the church here, I |have been informed by reliable Seddonites that they not only sent the Rev. Mr Potts to Te Awamntu, but in addition that he attended a Liberal meeting as a delegate from Ngaruawahia, nnd further that that gentleman went straight from a blue ribbon practioe held in the Wesleyan Church to a Liberal meetiug held in the Waipa Hotel.—l am, etc., Anti-Slang.
