CAPE-CAIRO RAILWAY.

The report that Mr Cecil Rhodes had arranged with the Kaiser for carrying the Cape-Cairo telegraph line through German territory is confirmed. He has also arranged that the Cape-Cairo railway shall connect Rhodesia and Transvaal, with the Atlantic coast through German-West Africa, thus rupplying a short cut to Rhodesia and avoiding the Cape. .
