HAMILTON HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY.
We desire to call our readers' attention to the annual show of this Society, to be held on the 23rd inst. For several years the Society has been doing good work iu promoting and keeping alive the love of flowers, and their anuual shows have been most successful in providing a pleasaut and instructive day for all lovers of Nature's most beautiful works. The affairs of the Society are so managed as to make its benefits available to all, and a modest subscription of 5s entitles anyone to membership, with free admission for the member and another to the show and a right to twelve exhibits free of charge. Wc have no hesitation in urging on all who can to assist in the good work by becoming members and sending exhibits to the show. The most modest gardens can contribute, and even those who have no garden may compete in the numerous classes for buttonhole or hand bouquets and other arrangements of flowers Mr A. Swarbrick, the Hon. Secretary, will be pleased to send tickets of membership, schedules of the show, and all information. Entries for the show will be received up to and including Saturday, 18th inst.
