Raymond Reports.— At the mart, Rotorua, on Tuesday, the following prices were realised :- Fowls, Is 6d to U 9d ; eggs, 8d dozen ; butter, 8d lb ; cabbages, 2s to 3s dozen ; cauliflowers, 4s to 63 dozen ; new potatoes, 2d lb for hmall lots, ljd lb for large; carrots, leeks and parsnips, 3d bunch ; peas, 2s peck. Vendors will find this market a good one for all vegetables in good condition. Stock report : Business has been brisk in all classes of stock this spring. Orders from outside this district are coming in freely. 300 wellreared youug cattle have left for one buyer this last month. AUCKLAND MARKETS. Messrs Alex. Aitken (Limited) Report.—The activity last reported iu feed lines still continues, and all grain is likely to rise. Old potatoes are badly held, and although still very good the demand is slack. New kidneys and Shepherds are now coming in freely, and prices are not firm locally. All prime onions are now enquired for at top rates. Carrots are almost unsaleable, and good snuff is scarce and rising. Oats and maize are very firm, also wheat, etc. New cheese and primest pat butter in great demand. Eggs plentiful at an average of 6Jd. All fruit is very scarce and dear. Victorian cherries just to hand realised up to 20s per case Local oranges in great request at 10s to 12s. Poultry are still in short supply and show improved sales with all well-bred young pigs.
