The Committee appointed by the Subscribers to the above, finding that the amount involved is very much greater than has been generally supposed, have decided to KEEP OPEN THE LISTS until the 15th October and make a further canvas. They would also point out that Mr Edgecumbe's action has been entirely disinterested, and that the final result has been that the milk business has been placed on a much more satisfactory footing throughout the district.
