A NARROW ESCAPE

(Br TELEGRAPH.—PBKSS ASSOCIATION). Invercaruill, Last Night. At Makarewa, on Sunday, Mrs Thos. Crow was driving to church when her horse bolted. She attempted to jump clear, but her dress caught and she was dragged aloug the roid for a quarter-of-a-mile. Her collarbone and right leg were broken and she was otherwise badly knocked about. Her condition is critical.
