{BY TELEGRAPH—PRESS ASSOCIATION). Auckland, Last Night. John JJcgue, licensee of the Lake Hotel, Takapuna, was to-day fined £6 and costs on a charge of Sunday trading. The Royal Oak crushed 140 tons for £474 worth of gold, and the Hauraki 140 tons for £793 worth of gold. The VVaitekauri returns for 14 days crushing give 1989 tons for £5779.
Roht. Ross, of Kaiwaka, cattle dealer, a bankrupt, had his discharge suspended for 12 months, and John McLean formerly fellmonger, Cambridge, had his discharge refused.
