PIAKO CRICKET ASSOCIATION.

A meeting of the delegates from the Te Aroha, Waihou, and Alorrimtville Criket Clubs was held at Waihou on Saturday evening, with a view to forming a Cricket Association. The delegates present were :—Mess s F. Pavitt and YV. Burton (Te Aroha), O. F. Pilling and H. G. Cousins (Waihou), and W. Scholium and R. D. F. Campbell (Morrinsville). Mr F. Pavitt occupied the chair.

It was decided to form an Association, to be called the Piako Cricket Asso« ciation, comprising the three above clubs.

The following officers were then elected :—President, Mr VV. 11. Hemes, M.H.R. ; vice- Presidents, Messrs F. Pavitfc, P. O'Meaghrr, A. Aitken, Jos. Ainbury, A. Orr, 0. F. Pilling, T. Heath, H, Cox, J. McCaw, John Allen; and R. 0. Mathia=; Hon. Secretary, Mr H. G. Cousins, Waihoii ; Hon. Treasurer, Mr Banks; Managing Committee, two delegates from each club. It was decided to adopt the M.C C. rules, and a number of by-laws were passed by the Association to suit the district. The first two rounds of matches ware then arranged as follows ;—October 7th, Waihoii v. Morrinsville, at Morrinsville ; October 14th, Te Aroha v. Waihou, at Waihou ; October 21st, Morrinsville v. Te Aroha, at Te Aroha ; November 4th, Morrinsville v. Waihou, at Waihoii ; November 11th, Waihou v. To Aroha, at Te Aroha ; November 18th, Te Aroha v. Morrinsville, at Morrinsville.
