(BY TtLKGRAPH—PRESS ASSOCIATION). Auckland, Last Night. At the annual meeting of the Northern Boot Company the year's profits were stated as £716 better by £lO9 than the last year. A dividend of 5 per cent, was declared, and the balance carried forward was £2,122. Ten per ceut. waß writteu off the plant, and new machinery was ordered.
At the inquest on the body found in the Thames Gulf a verdict of " Found Drowned " was returned. It was identified as the body of Mellis by Saxon, a brother of one of the meD drowned in the dingy disaster at Goromandel during the recent storm.
