USE OF INCENSE.
[united press association]. (BY ELECTRIC TELEGRAPH—COPYRIGHT). London, August 1. The Archbishop of Canterbury has forbidden the use of incense and processional lights. Neither, he says, are authorised, and their use is only permissible to sweeten church buildings entirely apart from public worship. He has entreated the clergy to respect his decision.
