Notices, TEWCASTLE ROAD BOARD. Public notice is hereby given iu accordance with the provisions of " The Road Boards Act, 1882," and "The Rating Act, 1894," that it is the intention of the above Board at a meeting appointed to be held at the Office, Ohote, near Whatawhata, on the 9th day of August next, to MAKE A GENERAL RATE of Three Farthings in the Poun'd (fd in the £) on the rateable value of the rateable property as appearing on the valuation roll of the Newcastle Road District, for the year commencing on the Ist day of April, 1899, and ending on the 31at day of March, 1900; said rate to be payable iu one sum on the Ist day of September, 1899, to the Collector (A.
