WELLINGTON RACES. (BT TELEGRAPH—PRESS ASSOCIATION). Wellington, Last Night. The weather waß fine for the Becond day's racing, but the course and grounds were still in a very heavy and sloppy state. There was a fairly good al tendance of the puMic, and the total put through the machine at the meeting was £14,149, as compared with £12,572, at the corresponding meeting last year. The following are the results : Hutt Flying Handicap. Ngaparu 1 Ideal 2 Wedlock 3 Won by a length. Dividend, £2 2s. Hack and Hcntkr's Steeplechase. Taleteller 1 Bhck Dust 2 Glenorry 3 Jumbo fell, and his rider, A. McMorran, had his collar bone broken. Dividend, £8 lis. Wellington Steeplechase. Morag I Nor'west 2 Hangfire ... 3 Also started : Muscatel, The Friar, Venture, Crusudo, Kauri Gum, Blackberry and Nayboru. Won by two lengths. Time, 9min. losec. Dividend, £l9 15s. Ladiks' Necklace. Grey Gown 1 Dividend, £ls 18s. Winter Oats. Ruamahunga 1 Sir 2 Pi&tol Grip 3 Dividend, £7 13s. Joly Steeplechase. Blackberry 1 Flirt 2 Gorse 3 Dividend, £2 3s, Final Htjkdles.
