WAIPA RUGBY UK lON. A meeting of the Waipa Rugby Union was held at Te Awamutu on Saturday evening last. The delegates present weie: Messrs C. Bowden aud W. Rimmer, Te Awamutu ; Corboy aud M. Gorrie, Kihikihi; J. Ryburn and S. C. Mucky, Paterangi; H. Lewis and F. Bowden, Otoiohanga ; and J. Papesch, Pirongia. Mr J. Ryburn presided. .Waikato v. Waipa.—lt was decided to apply to the Auckland Referees' Association for a referee to act in the coming inter-Union contest next Saturday, and iu the event of not being able to obtaiu an Auckland man, Mr W. Macky, of Paterangi, to act. Rotorua Match. —A reply was received from the Rotorua Union stating they could not at present fix upon any approximate date of their visit to Te Awamutu. Suspension.—A letter wa* received from the Pi:iko Rugby Union, asking Waipa Union to endorse their action in suspending two members of the Morrinsville Club for two years for misconduct. —After correspondence reeeived from the Morrinsviile Club had been read, the action was endorsed by the Union. Te Awamptu v. KiuiKini.—Mr R. J. Gwynne, of Hamilton, was appointed as referee in the next Te Awamutu v, Kihikihi match, to be played on the Te Awamutu ground, which match wi'l also decide the O'CoMior banner. Kihikihi v. Otokohanga.—Owing to the Otorohanga team failing to put iu an uppearance (or the last cap contest, the match was claimed by the Kihikihi team. Jkkskys —The Secretary stated that he had obtained the rep jerseys as authorised at the last meeting. Visiting Teams. Messrs Bowden, Lewis and the Secretary were appointed as a sub committee to carry out arrangements re entertaining the visiting teams during the season. HAMILTON It. V. NGARUAWAIIIA 11. The following team wi.l represent Hamilton 11. iu their match against Nganiawahia 11., to be played ou Sydney Square, Hamilton, ou Saturday :—Fullback— F. Johnson ; three-qu irters—R. Wright, Hill, Hunt ; live-eighth—W. Black ; half—H. Edgecumbe ; wingsO'Neill and S. Tebbs ; forwards—Dey, Rogers, Hughes, J. Moore, D. Wright, Kedy, E. Tebbs. Emergencies—Backs : DArcy and Greenwood. Forwards : P, Bastable aud W. Hughes. The English footballers defeated Morgan (Queensland), by 2'J points to 3. Mr E. Williamson has been appointed to act as referee in the Te Aroha-Waihou match, to be played at Waihou on Saturday. McVeauh and Carnachan have both notified the Secretary of the Waikato Rogby Union, that they will be unable to play on Saturday next, and T. Hinton will in consequence play as half-back in the Waipa match.
