The Waikato Arqub Office, Wednesday. MoNICOL AND CO.'S OHAUPO SALE. On Tuesday, at Messrs MeNicol's yard**, about 200 head of cattle were yarded. Over 60 dairy cows were offered, for which there was a moderate demand. Only a few grown steers were yarded. Store cows were fairly numerous and sold well, up to £3 for cows in fresh forward condition. The day was showery and cold, and there was not a large attendance of the public. lhe following are the prices:—Dsiry cows at profit, from £4 to £4 ss; backward springers, from £2 7s to £2 17s 6d; for a choice apringing heifer £5 5s was offered, £6 wanted. Empty store cowb, from £2 s to £3; steer calves, 16s 6d ; coarse three-year-old steers, £3 6s ; fat cows, from £3 15s to £4 2a 6d. Sheep : About 200 were yarded ; fat ewes, 9s 3d to lis 6d ; store wethers, 9s 9d. ROTORUA MARKET REPORT. Mr W. T. Raymond Reports. At my weekly sale at the Mart, Rotorua, on Monday the following prices were realised :—Prime butter, Is per lb ; eggs, Is 2d dozen ; bacon, 7£d lb ; cheese, 5d lb ; onions, LJd lb; celery, 3d per stick; honey, 5d lb; lemons, 5d to 6d dozen. Poultry: Good table roosters, Is 6d each ; hen turkeys,'3s; young fowls, Is Id. At 2.30 p.m. I sold a large consignment of fruit trees at fair prices. Books, furniture and sundries sold well.
