The revenue of the colony for the year was £491,000 in excess of the picvious year, and £491,000 in excess of the tie&surer's estimate. The surplus, however, will probably not exceed £250,000, as large supplementary e-timatcs have to be provided for. There were large increases in all the leading departments. Sydney, July 2. The revenue returns show au increase of £73,000 compared with the provious year, notwithstanding a shortage of £IOO,OOO on tho land tax and a considerable reduction in the amount estimated from Customs. The railway receipts have increased by £200,000. The year closed with a surplus of £147,000. Adelaide, July 1. The revrnue has in erased by £99,000 compared with the previous yiar. I*, is expected there will be a surplus of about £•20,000. Two more todies have been washed ashore from the wreck of the Loch Sloy.
