THE SURREY MATCH, Tins match was not abandoned as cabled, but has been played out with the result that the Australians have won the match by an innings and 70 runs. Tn their first innings they made 24D. Surrey made 114 in their first inning 3 and in their second only succeeded in putting up a score of 65. The bowling of Howell and Trumble was almost phenomenal.
