A POPULAR INSTITUTION. Mr Graham Bruck, Principal of King's College, Auckland, accompanieil by Mrs Ashton Bruce, is paying a short visit to the Waikato. In the senior district scholarship examinations, held by the Auckland Board of Education, two boys of King's College obtained 4th and sth places respectively and uere awarded scholarships, but these not beiDg tenable at any school in Auckland but the Grammar School, the boys elected to forfeit them and accepted more valuable scholarships at King's College, which are tenable for three years, and are of the value of 50 guineas per annum.
