CAMBRIDGE FOOTPATHS.

♦ TO THE EDITOH. Sib,—ln your report of the Cambridge Council meeting in Saturday's issue I see that Councillor Davies has been told off to attend to the Queen-street footpath, because it is covered with grass. I would point out to Mr Davies that numbers of the ratepayers would only be too glad to have such a footpath to their houses, and before the Council spends unnecessary money to keep one household from damping their feet on grass — which is unnecessary, as there is a good snivelled road for them to walk on, if they choose—it should attend to the footpaths in the northern part of the Bcrough.—l am, etc., Justice.
