Lord Kitchener imposes an export duty of 20 per cent, on gum, ivory and feathers exported from the Sou-, dan, but ne import duties will be imposed. May 11. Two hundred of the Khalifa's dervishes and many women and children have surrendered to the gunboats on the White Nile.
