(BY TELEGKAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION'.) Wellington, Last Isight. Lovely weather was enjoyed ior the holidays. At the inquest on Butler, killed through falling from a tramear on Tuesday night, a verdict of accidental death, with no blame attachable to anyone, was returned. The body of young Holm, one of three victims of the boating accident in the harbour on the 18th inst , was found today near the Heads. The Easter encampment began at Jolmstouville last night with glorious weather. The Wellington, the East Const and West Coast battalions, amounting altogether to 900 men, were present. The physique of the mounted men is generally admired. The day was spent in drill and outpo3t duty. A sham fight will probably be held to-morrow. The Land Board carried a resolution that an applicant successful in one ballot will not be permitted in other ballots, meaning that a person should only get one section. General Booth left for Auckland this morning.
