The Aegds has a far larger circulation than any other paper among the settlers in the Counties of Waikato, Waipa, Raglan, and Piako, and thus offeradvantages to advertiser? not possessed by other journals. Tradesmen at times, from a sense of false economy, refrain f rom advertising thinking that as they aro cognisant of their whereabouts, everybody else must know too, but this is a mistake. Every man may take it for granted that he thinks more of himself and knows a lot more of his doings and possessions than the public are aware of, and he will be the gainer by advertising his own opinion of himself, even if it should |shock his modesty.—"Waimate Witness.
