Tradesmen at times, from a sense of false economy, refrain from advertising, thinking that as they are cognisant of their whereabouts, everybody else must know too, but this is a mistake. Every man may take it for granted that lie thinks more of himself and knows a lot more of his doings and possessions than the public are aware of, and he will be the gainer by advertising his own opinion of himself, even if it should shock his modesty.—Waimate Witness.
