AMALGAMATION OF GOAL MINES.
(Br TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION). Auckland, Last Night. TnE amalgamation of the four coal mines at Huntly and Taupiri has been completed, and a company known as the Taupiri Coal Mines has beeu formed with a capital of £85,000 of £1 each. Ralph's Mine gets 36,000 shares and the Taupiri Extended a like number. The Waikato Coal Company's mine Taupiri Reserve were purchased for £90,000.
