The wind was light but very tricky, and the shooting was not above the average. Burford, of Timaru, who won the match last year, won it again to-day with the good score of 48. After this was finished the Otago Match, 10 shots at 300 yards, was taken, and. strange to relate, three members of the Wellington City Rifles led with the good score of 45 out of 50. Madden's score, however, was the best, and he took first prize.
