OHAUPO.

Presentations.— Last Sunday after the service in the Anglican Church, which was conducted by Archdeacon Willis, after an absence of several weeks, through illness, presentations were made to the Misses Marshall, Sundayschool teachers, from their pupils. The Archdeacon, in presenting the gifts to the young ladies, said he was much gratified at the kindly feeling that existed among the scholars, who wished to present them with souvenirs as a token of remembrance and regard ; he also thanked those ladies for their kind* ness and devotion in so successfully conducting the Sunday-school for some years past. Miss Amy Marshall received from her class a Morocco dressing case, silver mounted. The Misses Eva and Helen each receiving from their respective classes a silver mounted purse, with their initials engraved on a shield. The choir at the same time took the opportunity of presenting Miss Sarah Marshall, who is one of their leading members, with a handsome gold brooch, set in pearls and representing the figures 1899 (made to order). The Kev, J. Marshall, on behalf of his daughters, thanked the children and choir for the esteem and affection exhibited towards his family, and also thanked the Archdeacon for his kindly expressions. The rev. gentleman regretted that he and his family would soon be leaving the district, and the souvenirs, however, would be kept and looked upon by his daughters in rememberauce of the many happy days they have spent in Christchurch Parish, Ohaupo.—(Own Correspondent).
