The Waikato Argus Ofmob, Wednesday. MESSRS McNICOL AND CO.'S OHAUPOSALE. On luesday, at Messrs MoNicol and Go. s eale, about 380 head of cattle were yarded, all ot a good quality and m forward condition. The tone of the market was brisk, and, with the exception of young calves, everything sold at fair prices, with an advance on yearling and two-year-old steers. Generally at this season of the year sales are small and prices dull, but this year is an exception, for all through the holidays the stock sales at Ohaupo have been Rood, with a fair demand for any cattle of a good class. The following are the quotations: —Dairy cows (not many offered), up to £3 17s 6d ; three-year-old steers, from £3 7s to £3 10s ; two-year-old steers, £2 5s to £2 7s ; 15 months' sieere, 30s to 365, with a good demand; do. heifers, 25s to 29s ; empty cows and heifers, from 80s to £2 19a; young calves, 10s to 14s j fat cows, £3 7s to £3 10»; fat steers, £o 2s to £5 6s.
