Mr Van Horne, president of the Canadian-Pacific Railway Company, speaking at Quebec, advocated a 22 and 24-kn®t steam service with England, and said thereafter the Cana-dian-Pacific Company would double its Pacific service with a vessel weekly either to China or Australia.
