COLONIAL ENGINEERS.

(BY telegraph—press association). Wellington, Last Night. Last session J. Hutcheion, M.H.R., made certain charges about the laxity with which the marine certificates had been issued. The Government has made enquiry into the matter, with the result that one official has been suspended, and summonses have beon issued against him and two others, on a charge of improperly assisting the issue of certificates. The case will be heard next week.
