Koyal Stakks,— Screw Gun, 1 ; Seahorse, 2 ; Altair, 3. Dividend, £1 IK Steeplechase.—Magpie, 1; Nor'west, 2. Dividend, £3 10s. Gkandstand Handicap.— Waiorongomai, 1 ; Djin Djin, 2 ; Nestor, 3. Dividend, £6 ss. Newmaeket Handicap. St. Clements, 1 : Miss Emmy, 2 ; Rex, 3. Time, lm. IGK Dividend, £27. Auckland Plate. Multiform, 1 ; Blu<-jacket, 2 ; Nestor, 3. These were the only starters. Won in a canter. Time, 2min. Dividend, £1 6s. Puny Handicap.—Lena, 1; Bavaria, 2 ; Little Wonder, 3. Dividend, £4 Ss. The sum of £57,237 was put through the lotc lor the four days. In connection with the Newmarket Handicap, J. Gall, the owner and r.der of St. Clement?, has been ordered to appear before the stewards this morning, ■to explain the apparently inconsistent •lunniog of the winner.
