SALE OF THOROUGHBREDS. (BY TELEGRAPH—PRESS ASSOCIATION). Auckland, Last Night. At the sale of yearling* at Wellington Park the lots averaged '23-1 guineas, the total being £5405 guini as. Among the purchasers were Hon. Hugh Mossman, of Queensland, who gave the highest price, viz., 1050 guineas for a colt by St. I.eger from Hilda; and Messrs Stead (Christchurch). S. Griffiths (Melbourne), White (Sydney), Rover (Adelaide), Watt (Napier), Watson (Taranaki), Lawry (Napier), Colonel Fraser, Wright, Caulton, McLeod and Pcrcival.
