NEW TEAR HOLIDAYS. On Monday, 2nd January, 1899 (for New Year'a Day), the Hamilton Postoffice will be open from 9 to 10 a.m., and from 7 to 8 p.m., for telegraph business only. Mails usually despatched on Monday will be closed on Saturday at 7.30 p.m. J. F. Long, Postmaster. ENGLISH MAILS.
