The Te Kuiti Cricket Club have been playing quite a number of matches lately, the first being with Otorohanga at the latter place, when our boys suffered a ciushing defeat by an innings and fifty runs, and by a coincidence the return match at Te Kuiti resulted in exactly the same manner. However, on Thursday last the Te Kuiti cricketers made amends for their previous defeats by beating the Ohu:a Club by 20 runs. This last match was ti most sociable aud enjoyable game, and tea was kindly provided by the ladies in the afternoon
