FATAL ACCIDENT.
Once more we have to record the death by accident of a young man engaged in shunting on the railway. The latest victim to what, to the unofficial mind, appears undue haste is a promising young fellow named Frank Poland, whose parents roside at Tuakau. It is the old story ; lie tripped and a wheel or wheels of a goods truck passed over his limbs. The accident occurred at the Auckland goods station, and the victim was taken to the Auckland Hospital, where he expired shortly after admission, (by telegraph—press association). ACCRLAND, Last Night. At the inquest on Frank Poland, who was killed in the Auckland railway station guods yard yesterday while shunting, a verdiet of " Accidental death, with no blame attachable to anybody," was returned.
