MAIL NOTICES.
CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR HOLIDAYS. On Monday, December 26th (for Christmas Day), and Monday, January 2nd (for New Year's Day), the Hamilton Post-office will be open from 9 to 10 a.m., and from 7 to 8 p.m. for telegraph business only. Mails usually despatched on these days will be closed the previous Saturday evenings at 7.30 p.m. On Tuesday, 27th December (for Boxing-day), tho office will be open in all its branches from 9 to 10 a.m., and lot, telegraph business only from 7 to 8 p.m. Mails usually despatched after 10 a.m. will be closed at 10 a.m. One complete delivery by letter-carrier will be made, leaving the office at 8 a.m. J. F. Long, Postmaster. ENGLISH MAILS. Mails close at the Hamilton Post-office as under : Dec. 23, 'Frisco I Dec. 31, M'teVideo Doc. 24, Suez I Dec. 31, Suez Dec. 31, Vancouver | Jan. 15, Suez All close at 1.30 p.m. J. F. Long, Postmaster.
