INDUSTRIAL EXHIBITION.

10 THE KDITOK. Sir,—With others I most sincerely con"ratulate the committee of the Industrial Exhibition, held at Te Awamutu, on the success of their efforts ; but with others I, too, do not think they should keep all the money for the Te Awamutu Library. Ido not think it was made clear that the prizes were to consist of tickets marked Ist, 2nd and 3rd prize, as the case might be. To the ordinary mind the idea conveyed by such terms are distinctive and different values, and to retain all the cash as it is proposed to do seems rather like " grab." I trust that Mr Gresham's motion will be carried, so that some little token of recognition may be awarded to the successful competitors.—l am, etc., Fairplay.
