All horses entered to be the bona fide property of settlers residing within a radius of five miles from the Whatawhata Post - office for at least three months before the date of the races. 7. HANDICAP FLYING STAKES, of 6sovs ; second horse to receive lsov. from stake. Winner of Whatawhata Handicap to carry 101 b extra. Six furlongs. Entrance, 6s. CONDITIONS. All races to be run under the Auckland Raeiup Club's rules. All disputes to be decided by the Stewards, whose decision will be final. Every protest to be accompanied by lsov., which will be forfeited if the protest be not sustained. Acceptances and general entries close on FRIDAY, December 16th. No nomination or acceptance will be reeived unless accompanied ky the necessary amount in cash. Five per cent, will be deducted from all winnings to go towards improving the course.
